Kenzo Str8drop is Manchester’s hottest newcomer to break onto the UK rap scene. He has already set the pace in his debut year, 2022 - dropping five singles and two freestyles, which began to make noise on the UK streets as he reflected the gritty reality of life through his ‘real rap’ lyrics.
His selective choice of hard hitting beats partnered with his Mancunian accent results in an aggressive and gripping style of music. After his first single ‘Before The Lick’ trended on YouTube, Kenzo linked up with P110 for his freestyle debut on the legendary ‘Hoods Hottest’ series. He then finished 2022 with four singles and a freestyle with Kenny Allstar which all trended in YouTube music’s Top 20.
Kenzo has been previously supported by Ellie Prohan (KISS FM UK and Apple Music) and Joey Clipstar (Hardest Bars and Link Up TV). He has also seen early support from the likes of Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon across their respective playlists. Kenzo already has gained over 3 million streams across all platforms and over 7.3 million YouTube views from 2022 alone. In 2023 Kenzo dropped his debut EP ‘Bricks & Sticks’ and has had three music videos chart in the UK on YouTube. As his streaming numbers continue to grow, Kenzo is definitely one to watch this year.
